Product Design Engineer

Job Description:As a Product Design Engineer, you will partner with R&D teams as well as manufacturing and quality teams to develop solutions for current and next generation window and door products. You will influence the system form factor, product performance, and customer

experience for those using our products. You will be a key contributor in our mission to become a world class customer

experience company through our products and services.

Minimum

qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical

experience2 years of

experience with 3D CAD modeling1 year

experience working on product development, including prototyping and testing

Experience With Dimensional Engineering And Tolerance Analysis

Preferred

qualifications:5 years of

experience working in Research and Development or working in a product development environmentAbility to diagnose and solve complex problems involving product and process

Experience With Test Method Creation And Improvement

Experience with characterization, process monitoring, specifications, failure analysis and data analysisAbility to present facts to team members at all levels and backgroundsAbility to code in Python, Java, or similar languageKnowledge of manufacturing, lean, and process improvement methodologyKnowledge of the building industryHands on practical

experience building something, either personal or professional
