Duties And

Responsibilities of Preconstruction Director:High-level

experience and understanding in:Leadership of the Preconstruction Team:Directing and coaching the Preconstruction Team with a focus on effective leadership to ensure cohesive collaboration and goal alignment.Management of the Preconstruction Team:Efficiently overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Preconstruction Team, ensuring tasks are executed promptly and in accordance with established core process.Accountability of the Preconstruction Team:Holding the Preconstruction Team responsible for their actions and ensuring collective accountability for project success.Key Steps in the Preconstruction Core Process:Improve the process that guides overall Preconstruction and all related activities.Ensuring completion of key steps in the Preconstruction Core Process, including internal kickoff meetings, cost estimation, invitation to bids, and participation in owner presentations.Cost Estimation:Collaborate with project stakeholders to establish and manage conceptual budgets.Align budgetary

requirements with project goals in collaboration with design and engineering teams.Develop and oversee all cost estimates for projects.Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.Explore alternate materials and construction methods for cost savings.Invitation to Bids:Oversee the bidding process, evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals to facilitate an informed decision-making process.Work with team to develop clear concise scope and schedule and project
