Position Description:The E-Commerce Purchasing Specialist oversees the profitable procurement and timely delivery of products for the Company’s e-commerce platforms, both domestically and internationally. This role collaborates with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to meet the company's objectives, ensuring supply chain and inventory management align with a dynamic merchandise mix and related financial

responsibilities. All procurement actions must adhere to company-set policies and procedures, considering both local and global market dynamics.

Responsibilities:Efficiently purchase inventory, supplies, and capital equipmentPeriodically evaluate vendors/suppliers, notifying management if vendors do not meet performance or quality standardsProcess purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and appropriate authorization. Propose new or substitute vendors when beneficialIssue and manage purchase orders; negotiate prices, delivery, and credit terms in line with company policies and procedures. Keep comprehensive purchasing recordsImplement risk management for supply contracts and agreements.Establish and oversee the procurement budgetDevelop and apply effective sourcing strategiesHarness research

skills to identify and engage with profitable suppliers, and negotiate beneficial termsEstablish and nurture business partnershipsSupervise supply needs and approve the procurement of necessary goods and servicesOversee end-to-end workflow, from order initiation to delivery completionBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring updated vendor recordsAnalyze inventory reorder levels and pricing tiers to ensure cost-effective purchasing in alignment with the company’s capital costsGenerate monthly procurement reports, review forecasts of purchasing commitments, and assess performance against targetsCollaborate with the warehousing and distribution teams to ensure seamless integration of purchasing plans with inventory management and logisticsStay abreast of market trends and technological advancements in the e-commerce industry to inform purchasing strategiesMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and inventory managementAddress and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise in the procurement processHandle additional purchasing, inventory, and accounting tasks as required or requested

Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of proven

experience in a similar role, specifically within the e-commerce sectorProficient in sourcing and procurement techniques with a keen ability to forecast market trendsStrong

experience in data collection and analysisComprehensive understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management practicesOutstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive decision-making attitudeOrganized, with efficient planning

skillsEffective written and verbal communication

skills, coupled with the ability to nurture business relationships both internally and externallyProficiency in spreadsheet, word-processing software, and other relevant e-commerce and inventory management tools
