Chief Technology Office
The Chief Technology Office (CTO) supports and delivers enterprise infrastructure and tech for tech services that enable Wells Fargo customers globally. The group is responsible for enterprise-wide services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, developer
experience tools, centralized technology governance and controls, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure.
CTO is undergoing a major transformation in the way we deliver services, including new cloud modeled data centers, new and modern development tools, adoption of a product operating model based on agile principles, and a customer-center frictionless delivery approach. The transformation effort aligns resources to the standard total business management approach, combined with a simplified, product-oriented re-structuring requiring a shift from command and control to collaborate to automate, placing speedy standardized solutions in the hands of the consumer directly. This move supports the ten-year vision of Wells Fargo Technology to operate fully in the cloud.

Cto Is Hiring An Executive Leader That Possess Broad-based
experience transforming technology organizations within a regulated environment and complex architectural, financial and talent constraints. The new Chief Technology Office (CTO) - Foundational Hosting Platform (FHP) - Head of Foundational Hosting Infrastructure position will lead the consolidated organizational product transformation into a sustainable FHP-Risk and Resiliency (FHP-RR) governed function using a risk-based approach to achieve talent, tools, and techniques compliant with required industry rules, regulations, and laws. The Managing Director leader will set the holistic strategy to support highly complex technology operations resiliency and risk functions with a focus on ensuring accountability and effective interaction to all levels across Wells Fargo stakeholders to successfully risk manage and close regulatory exam actions to sustainability and continuous transformational improvement. You will own the strategic roadmaps for Compute, Storage and Mainframe technologies.
This position is necessary to consolidate three products and/or organizational functions within the Foundational Hosting Platform (FHP) to build resiliency and risk efficiencies and align with regulatory rules, regulations, and laws to reach control sustainability continuous improvement, and governance across the Compute, Storage and Mainframe & Midrange Services along with Automation Services and Data Protection Services. The environment consists of 42,000 physical servers, ~130K Virtual Machine Servers, ~800 Petabytes of Block, File, Object, and backup storage. Mainframe, Midrange, and Unisys compute environments requiring high availability, local and geographic resilience, and data protection.

Familiar with infrastructure as code development and software creation, desired familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Java.Expertise in vendor and contract management on more than +2B in assets.Familiar with mainframe and midrange, to drive modernization work to integrate into the enterprise pipeline.Proven
experience in data center exits and migration while evolving to modern infrastructure and automation.The candidate must be comfortable in front of large audiences to develop, influence and foster the community.Demonstratable knowledge and understanding of technology support: large information technology (IT) environment, multiple computing environments, operating systems, and hardware platforms.
Knowledge and understanding of technology support: web and services platforms along with system integration: engineering or platform engineering
experience.Must have strong executive presentation and relationship building
skills. Ability to present a message clearly and succinctly to business leaders, product leaders and very large and executive audiences.Extensive

$249,500.00 - $518,300.00
