Role Overview & Specifications

The Manager Marketing Operations is responsible for working closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive the transformation of marketing programs at Client through the successful development and implementation of key change management initiatives. These initiatives will include new policies, new approaches to getting the work done, and new vendor relationships. The result of this focused effort will be a more effective and efficient marketing department that delivers world class marketing programming for Client.

Reporting and Organizational Relationships: Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. Will work closely with Marketing staff and Sales Leadership. Regular interaction with Finance and Legal.

Essential Job Functions

Assess current processes and practices and recommend alternatives that will produce meaningful improvement in efficiency and/or effectiveness of marketing programs.Work with Marketing staff to maintain accurate status on all active marketing projects.Review all marketing budgets and work with Marketing and Finance to right-size marketing investment and/or improve Marketing ROI.Assess existing marketing vendors and make recommendations to improve work product, drive efficiency and/or reduce expense. Conduct RFPs for new marketing vendors as needed. Support onboarding of current and new marketing vendors.Maintain vendor MSAs and SOWs and work with the marketing team to assess vendor performance on a regular basis. Ensure that Client is receiving full value for the investment it is making.Provide marketing operations subject matter expertise for strategic consultation across the company.Work with marketing staff, community leaders, and sales teams to reduce or eliminate the need for local sales teams to produce marketing materials.Work closely with the marketing staff to right-size the marketing collateral library and identify opportunities to reduce inventory expense. Implement program to ensure collateral is regularly reviewed for accuracy and/or obsolescence.

Job

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. MBA or related graduate degree preferred.Eight to ten years of progressive marketing or agency operations

experience.Demonstrated ability to drive change management initiatives.

Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities Required

Experience in process mapping, value engineering, and measuring the effectiveness of process improvement efforts.Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving/resolution

skills and a team focus.Excellent written and verbal communication

skills.  Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job

duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
