My client is seeking a highly motivated individual and team player to take on the position of Staff Geotechnical Engineer

The right candidate will be working with a team of Engineers. Candidate will be evaluating project soils data, site condition, publicly available geological literature and site surveys and interact with our in-house engineers, and client's architects, structural engineers and/or project owners. The staff geotechnical engineer will be working and assisting on the preparation of geotechnical and foundation recommendations reports with our professional engineers. Other

duties may require visiting sites for full understanding, soil classification and review of soil classification data for compliance with reports. This position provides an opportunity for the right candidate to gain a great foundation to grow into a high-level Geotechnical Engineer position.

Responsibilities

Participate in and contribute to a diverse range of tasks in the field, laboratory, and within the office.Progress into performing engineering calculations, analysis, and report preparation.Maintain quality standards on all projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering or Engineering Tech Degree.Ambition to obtain Engineer in training (EIT), success will be compensated.Certification in Soils and concrete is a plusAbility to communicate well both orally and in writing with GME Testing personnel and Clients.Good Understanding of engineering principles and practices
