This marketing intern's position is designed to validate the potential marketing opportunities for the Dynamic Neck Brace project. The position is not paid, but the intern will have the chance to get the second author on the paper and an inventor position on the patent. RoboRambler will provide the legal support to ensure what is promised is executed.
ResponsibilitiesDetermine the market value of this device by conducting a survey for over 70 samples, with a specific sampling strategy. The design of the testing method is up to the student, but a report must be submitted at the end to ensure the efficacy of the deliverable.
Please submit the report with the following factors evaluated and validated with reasoning:The choice of sample size and how this sample size would affect uncertainty and confidence level.Record each individual's gender, age, height, and weight to validate the design of the selection.Record three different data sets and how each of these would reflect on the efficacy of the device, level of tightness vs comfort at shoulder, level of tightness vs comfort at headband, design of the spring constant between the two (benchmark the spring constant is possible).Submit a report at the end of the term to ensure the continuation of this research.
QualificationsCurrent Georgia Tech students is a must, from School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Biomedical Engineering, or School of Biology.Clinical
experiences and research
experiences with medical equipments is a must.Have arranged nonprofit group in the field of medicine, surgical ergonomics, and related field is a plus.
