Summary

This position provides support for research in the Breast Imaging section of the Radiology department. Immediate need is for the TMIST study, an NIH supported multi-institutional long-term study of screening mammography techniques, ie 2D versus 3D technology. Over time, the effort will be distributed over this and other breast Imaging projects.

Department Description

The UCSF Department of Radiology Imaging IT team architects, implements, and manages the computer systems and networks needed to support more than 700,000 imaging studies annually. Our team manages the full stack from network to application and end user support. The team provide Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm support including evening and weekend call to support the Medical Center needs.

Preferred

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S degree with a major in science or relatedDemonstrated proficiency with medical terminology.Training/

experience in the conduct of clinical research trials in an academic research environmentFamiliarity with UCSF processes and systems;

experience and knowledge of CHR/IRB policy and procedure.Related lab/research

experience

Experience running clinical research studies, with a strong understanding of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols

Experience With Establishing/running A Clinical Trial

Experience with data entry and cleaningNavigating study procedures,

experience with consents, reviewing eligibility criteria, reporting of safety listings, entering of data and orders into medical record system, coordination and scheduling of hospital visits and follow ups with participants and study staff
