Yard & Warehouse Operative/Technician

Location: Bridgend

Job description:

Are you a versatile, mechanically minded person who takes pride in doing your job to a high standard? We are looking for someone to support our rental business who can work on a wide variety of our rental equipment. This will include performing simple maintenance tasks, receiving equipment into our warehouse and maintaining a tidy, organized and safe workspace. This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for occasional weekend and overtime work.

Your focus:

• Maintenance and repair of tanks and other rental equipment
  

• Assisting with yard inventory
  

• General housekeeping in the workshops, yard and offices.
  

• Equipment inspections (before and after rental)
  

• Vehicle and equipment cleaning
  

Your profile:

• Able to work in a small team and use own initiative.
  

• Safety conscious.
  

• Mechanical aptitude with some demonstrable mechanical Knowledge
  

• Forklift experience desirable
  

• Driving license B is required, Candidates with B+E or HGV will be very welcome as there may be the opportunity for occasional driving work.
  

• IT literate, you should know how to use emails as you may be required to enter worksheets into our computerised system.
