Key
Responsibilities
This position's primary purpose is to develop and maintain United's Alliance relationships with partner airlines and key internal collaborators. The relationship manager will be the primary point of contact for the airline partner carriers to run overall relationships issues and identify new strategic opportunities. Serve as a decision maker in negotiating, interpreting, and implementing contracts, collaborate with the partners and/or with other UA-internal collaborators to review and resolve any issues, and to implement process or term changes to minimize or eliminate any systemic issues. Responsible for identifying and pursuing new airline partnerships supporting United’s global network development
Monitors, maintains, and develops individual partnerships within the portfolio, including problem resolution and collaborator consensus building between the partners as well as within UnitedContinually assesses financial benefit of individual partnerships and develops tactics and strategies to maximize United's benefitResponsible for contract negotiations and modifications for carriers within the geographic portfolio for existing, new and prospective partnersAdvises managers on activities within the specified region that impact or may impact partnerships, and supports senior management interaction with regional partnersIdentifies and cultivates new opportunities with existing and new partners

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work
