Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Rotating on-call schedule, Monday through Sunday, rotating every 4 to 5 weeks

Responsibilities:Perform repairs and maintenance on all district property and equipment, maintain the distribution and collection systems in compliance with state and federal standards. Repairs would include mains, septic tanks, curb stops, fire hydrants, valves, meters, out readers, buildings, vehicles, mowing grass, janitorial

dutiesKeep record of repairs and maintenanceSampling as required by state law or requested by the General Manager or Field SupervisorPerform taps on water and sewer mainsMake recommendations for ordering and purchasing necessary equipment and suppliesInspection of all water and sewer installations, including main extensions, service lines, septic tanks, etc., to insure they are installed to meet district specificationsLocating mains, curb stops, valves, etc. as requestedOperation of valves and fire hydrants on an annual basisRead meters monthlyKeep records of inspections, taps, water and sewer flows, etc.

Requirements:Possession of Class 2 Certification in Water DistributionClass 3 Water Treatment Certification (can be obtained through the apprentice program with the company)Attendance required at schools and workshops to remain in compliance with required continuing
