Seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist for a contract opportunity with our award-winning biotechnology client headquartered in San Diego.
Start date: ImmediateDuration: 12+month W2 contract, (Opportunity of extension)Location: ONSITE in San Diego, CACompensation: The expected compensation is $30.00 - 36.50/hr. W2 plus benefits.The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
Responsibilities:End-to-end management and oversight of all purchasing within End User Services, including procurement, receipt of goods, invoicing, and payment.Tracking activities against the approved budgets.Proficiency in ServiceNow to facilitate reporting of operational metrics.Lifecycle management of all IT Assets End User Services, including Computers, Mobile Devices and Peripherals.Maintaining healthy stock levels based on demand & supply chain lead times.Maintain strong Vendor relationships, performing regular operational reporting.Responsible for regular audits against internal asset management systems.Strategic input into regional inventory management.Drives continuous improvement on processes and systems related to procurement, asset lifecycle management, and inventory control.Maintain the regional Hardware standards in conjunction with the global team and End User Computing function.
Preferred Requirements:5+ years’ experience working in a customer service environment providing desktop support servicesExperience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Supply Chain.Experience creating, documenting, and improving process lifecycles.Experience working across multiple departments and organizations.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.ITIL, Service Management or CMDB background.Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate across all levels.Good organizational and time-management skills.Be a champion for change; always pushing iterative improvement.
Preferred Experience/Education:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.Experience working within an IT organization.
