Position: Green Energy Customer Service Consultant

Location: Oak Brook, ILDuration: 12+ months assignment

Rate: $40 - 48/hr

Responsibilities:Educate customers about green power options and corresponding programs/services at ComEd, state, and national levels.Interface with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to provide information and assistance.Support and manage the net metering application and enrollment process in alignment with legislative

requirements.Correspond and interact with internal and external groups to ensure proper assignment of customer accounts to net metering.Monitor, coordinate, and interface with internal and external groups to facilitate meter exchanges, billing requests, and enrollment completion.Correspond with customers to ensure completion and return of required forms and agreements.

Qualifications:6+ years of direct and detailed customer support

experience.Strong interest and passion for advancing clean energy technologies.Excellent communication

skills, including verbal, written, and listening abilities.Ability to understand customer perspectives and resolve issues through outstanding customer service.Demonstrated customer service

experience or call center

experience.Knowledge or

experience in solar, net metering, and interconnection processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Ability to explain technical and complex topics in a customized manner for individual customer understanding.Strong investigative mindset to synthesize information from multiple systems to determine issues and

next steps.Knowledge or

experience in solar, net metering, and interconnection processes, with an understanding of state and federal clean energy programs and incentives.
