Summary Tanglewood is looking to add a new Wealth Advisor to its team. The Wealth Advisor’s primary role is to serve the needs of Tanglewood clients by fostering authentic, deep, and long-lasting relationships. This is accomplished by providing in-depth wealth planning advice based on a full and complete understanding of each client’s unique financial goals, needs and resources. The Wealth Advisor also works with clients to initiate and oversee plan implementation and updates.
Responsibilities Function as the primary trusted Wealth Advisor to firm clients. Lead the ongoing implementation, review, and maintenance of client’s wealth planning needs in all areas of planning. Collaborate with other Wealth Advisors at the firm as well as outside professionals (CPA, Estate Planning Attorney, etc). Keep current on financial planning topics including wealth transfer strategies, retirement needs, Social Security, and tax planning.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related); Master’s degree a plus Minimum of 5 years of
experience in a client facing role engaging in the financial services, accounting, or estate planning field. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation Proven client relationship
skills to develop client trust for deeper insight and understanding of client needs and family dynamics. Ability to explain complex financial concepts and application in an easy-to-understand way. Must possess integrity, empathy, accuracy, and excellent problem-solving and time management
skills. Exceptional oral and written communication
skills are critical. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite. Familiarity with industry tech like Vanilla, Holistiplan, RightCapital. eMoney, and Salesforce is advantageous, but not required.
