Position: Scanning Clerk

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Pay: $20/hr

Experience: Two (2) years of document scanning

experience; Must have an active secret clearance!

Education: High school diploma or GED

Type: Full-time; Contract (Two years)

Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Scanning Clerk to join our awesome team!

Job Description

Ensure all documents are prepared adequately prior to scanning.Tasks include removing binders, files, paperclips, and staples.Orient documents correctly for scanning.Address and remove obstructing sticky notes.Straighten bent or creased pages and repair torn pages as needed.Execute large-volume document scanning using one or more PC workstations equipped with scanners.Utilize production scanning software for efficient results.Inspect all scanned images for readability, correct orientation, and consistent scanning using double feed detection technology.Engage in data entry to input established index values for images.Uphold the confidentiality and protection of all client and organizational data.Implement routine preventative maintenance by checking and cleaning workstations and scanners.

Requirements

Proficiency in managing workload, completing tasks, and effective communication without direct supervision.Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.Typing speed of at least 45 wpm.Ability to travel as needed.
