Summer School English Teachers (Residential or Non-Residential)
As an English Language Teacher, you will plan, prepare and deliver the St. Andrews College curriculum to a student body diverse in age, culture, language and ability. Teachers hours are spread over a 42-hour working week. The dates, days and times may vary according to the needs of the campus. Class sizes are a maximum of 15. Students receive around 15 hours of tuition per week and partake in cultural activities and excursions with the activities staff.
Essential Requirements
TEFL Certificate, Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CERT TESOL, or a QTS award if it is primary level, or secondary level English or Foreign Languages or experience in both the teaching of students under 18.
Awareness of the responsibilities of working with students under 18.
Knowledge of the use of English and the linguistic systems underlying it.
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken).
Teacher: - £565 per weekStart Date:
1st July 2023 – (2 - 6-week fixed term contracts available).
