Role: Event Operations Coordinator
Client: Fortune 500 Financial Enterprise Duration: 11-month contract
Location: New York City or Boston, MA (primarily remote, occasional onsite)
Pay rate: $35-40/hour
Job Description:Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Operations Coordinator to join their team in NYC or Boston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of event planning and execution, including marketing communications, logistics, booth coordination, and budget management. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of events and conferences, showcasing the company's thought leadership and enhancing their brand presence.
Responsibilities:Manage program deliverables, including marketing communications collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics, and sales communications.Own third-party conferences, including marketing event planning, exhibit booths, and coordination with sales on staffing and scheduling.Support smaller industry conference deliverables through booth coordination and premiums.Ensure all event components are impactful and follow guidelines to showcase thought leadership in an integrated marketing approach across channels.Provide on-site support for additional events as needed.Maintain event budgets, submit invoices, and track team corporate credit cards.Maintain the events/conferences calendar with dates, costs, venues, etc.Manage premiums/Harte Hanks, maintain quantities, stock, and refresh items on Harte Hanks and Salesforce.Dedicate to measuring return on investment for all programs and provide analysis reporting.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of event marketing and/or marketing communications
experience.Ability to multitask, juggle, prioritize, and balance competing goals and projects.Expertise with events and/or marketing, ideally within the financial services industry.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with CVENT and Salesforce is strongly preferred.Strong organizational and communication
skills.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
