RightWorks is looking for an Assistant Planner. The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction profession and be skilled in various software applications, as well as possess strong communication and analytical
skills.
Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Planner in all aspects of project planning, including project progress reporting, construction productivity, headcount records, logistics planning, new construction method planning, best practices, and lessons learnedWrite and submit detailed reports (using Word, PowerPoint, and video formats) to clients based on the provided dataReview drafts and final documents for proper grammar and language usageCollect and analyze subcontractors' raw data, including construction productivity, site headcount records, and forecastingCommunicate with clients as needed to address requests and updatesProactively check and coordinate project documents and computer filing structuresUpdate project status data on a weekly and monthly basis
Qualifications
Proficiency in word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and database software
Experience in creating simple video productions to showcase project progress (Adobe Premiere Pro or Movavi preferred)Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writingCompletion of a four-year college degree preferred (not mandatory)At least 2-3 years of
experience in the construction profession preferred
Requirements
Strong expertise in the Microsoft Office suiteAbility to quickly adapt to new software applications
