Summary And

Qualifications

Assists Surgicare with sterilization of equipment and supplies for patient care. Maintains accurate sterilization records and prepares quarterly report for the infection control nurse.

What

qualifications you will need:

BCLS, and CRCST (IAHCSMM), or CBSPDPreferred: CRCST or CBSPD, CIS (IAHCSMM), CER (IAHCSMM)

Minimum: SPD Externship Completion

Preferred: Previous hospital

experienceHigh School Diploma/GED, and Sterile Processing InstitutionAbility to follow policies and procedures related to infection control practices/instrument decontamination and sterilization. Preferred: Ability to identify surgical instruments, ability to operate sterilizers. Knowledge of sterilization techniques.
