Embroidery Machinist

We are looking for an experienced Machinist/Sewing operator to work in a busy manufacturing environment in a rural Shropshire location

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment on a high speed electronic sewing machine is essential
• Quality control and ensuring all products conform to standards
• Can do attitude with good communication skills
• Oversee efficiency and standards to a wide range of goods and companies
• Maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Adaptive to a variety of tasks and responsibilities

‍Hours of work:

Week 1:6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2: 2:00pm - 10.30pm (8pm finish on Friday)

‍£12.70per hour + overtime rate

‍Saturdays are required during peak times, although an overtime rate of 1.5 plus bonus is paid.

After a successful 3 month probation you will receive a £500 bonus, followed by another £1000 bonus after another 6 months. A total of £1500 after 9 months in the same role.

‍This is a temporary to permanent role transferring as a permanent member of the team after 12 successful weeks working through Recruitment Direct
