Summary

We are looking for a motivated Senior RFIC Design Engineer with a solid background in RF design, excellent communication

skills, and strong drive to produce best in class products. The candidate will be responsible for designing RF front end modules for Wi-Fi applications. The tasks include RF design of linear and non-linear power amplifiers, LNA’s, switches, filters, and laminate substrate, including module integration. Applicant will work closely with a core design engineering team and other cross functional team members to bring cutting edge Wi-Fi 7/8 products to the market.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed, transistor-level RFIC design and product development focusing on highly-efficient linear and non-linear next generation RF Power Amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, switches, laminate substrate, and/or integrated modules for 2.4GHz and/or 5-7GHz Wi-Fi applicationsWork with engineering and marketing managers to define product

requirements and create and execute product development plans including design, simulation, layout, and verification testingWith your cross-functional team members, bring products from conception to full production releaseSupport Product Marketing and Applications Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle with product prototypes and samples, data and design summaries, and application circuit recommendations

Qualifications

Demonstrated history of successfully designing and production-releasing state-of-the art RFIC’s in GaAs and/or SiGe HBT and/or in RF CMOS and/or SOI technologiesProficiency with RFIC EDA tools such as Keysight ADS and/or Cadence

Experience with nonlinear power amplifier architectures for digital predistortion applications

Experience with EM simulators such as ADS Momentum, FEM, and/or HFSSDetailed transistor-level knowledge of RF and microwave integrated circuit design techniques including linear power amplifier design, RF switching, low noise amplifiers, bias circuits, and multi-chip module designUnderstanding of thermal management in power amplifiersAbility to work in a fast paced, highly motivated and very interactive team environmentHands-on laboratory work including RF tuning and testingEffectively communicate ideas and progress status in presentations and written reportsMSEE with 8+ years of directly applicable
