Day & Night Care Assistants (Full & part-time available)
We currently have opportunities for Day Care Assistants who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our Care Team who provide care 24/7 for our 32 residents providing residential, dementia and respite care. Find out more about how we care for our residents: https://youtu.be/Po6md7pq7nI

Responsibilities
Provide high quality, professional service of care to our residents.
Help a resident with personal cleanliness such as helping a resident with a bath.
Support residents to eat and drink.
Treat others as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
Treat our residents with dignity and respect.
Support our residents to keep independent and healthy and encourage them to be part of the community within the home.
Get to know residents so as to comfort, assist and give reassurance when needed.
Assist with tidying, cleaning, laundering and other domestic tasks when needed.
Assist in the care at end of life.

About you:
You need to be someone who enjoys working with older people and can have empathy with them;
You need to be able to work in a team and be willing to take on any task to provide an excellent level of care to our clients; and
You need to be well-organised, adaptable and practical.- We welcome applications from those who demonstrate the willingness and dedication to learn. As long as you are caring, sensitive and attentive towards the needs of others.

Hours:
Day shifts: Full time available
Night shifts: Part time available
Bank shifts available (to ensure cover for absence, sickness, holidays and relief).
Benefits
Weekend rate: £10.30 p/h
NVQ Level 2: £10.43 p/h and weekend rate: £10.55 p/h
£500 joining bonus (on completion of probation and care certificate)
Kick Start £750 new to care bonus (you must meet the criteria in order for Care Development East to pay you the bonus)
