PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Director Value Based Care Analytics for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

The General

salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $58.88 – $88.32. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position

responsibilities,

Summary

Directs, controls and is accountable for assigned value-based care data and analytics for PeaceHealth value-based care opportunities under the leadership of the System Director of Value Based Care. Directs the management of data strategy, report development, Business Intelligence (BI) tool administration and data warehouse development for PeaceHealth Value Based Care Programs. Leads the design, structure, development and planning within scope of direction to support the Value Based Care strategy for the organization. This position provides support by directing the integration of internal and external data from various sources and conducts audits to ensure quality, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of data sources. Responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment and regulatory compliance. Guides, controls and is accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of analytic services, managing priorities, piloting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring project coordination and timely deliverables. Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision making capabilities, implements tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights, to initiate, monitor, and maintain open data requests to ensure requests are completed on time. This position generates standard reporting and insightful analysis relating to payer and network initiatives. Provides strategic leadership and day-to-day support for all aspects of assigned value-based care analytics.

Essential Functions

Provides strategic direction and analytics leadership to the Value Based Care (VBC) and Contracting teams to support the overall business and drive continuous improvement around Value Based Care analytic capabilities. Communicates VBC strategic goals and initiatives for the teams and promotes team building and work to provide growth opportunities for staff.Integrates data from internal and external data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed. Develop a thorough understanding of data sources used within the department, including how the data is obtained/stored, appropriate use for the data from different information sources, complexities involved with certain types of data, and how to validate different types of data.Controls and guides the incoming and outgoing data from payers and external entities as necessary. Conducts data audits to ensure quality, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of data. Identifies and addresses data quality issues with the necessary stakeholders. Data acquisition, data analysis, report development, data monitoring, and maintenance of quality and utilization data from both internal and external sources. Reconciles external data with CIN sources and work to resolve any discrepancies. Generate standard weekly/quarterly/monthly reports as assigned and provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis in response to ad hoc management requests and issues. Proactively work cross-functionally within the CIN analytic team to meet organizational objectives. Collaborates across the organization to provide timely support to customers and key stakeholders to understand information needs, business processes, and expected outcomes. Works with other Clinically Integrated Network, Value Based Care and other teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business and clinical decisions.Directs daily function of assigned areas, ensure continuity of services, and prepares long and short-range goals for application/tool selection, systems development and acquisition of resources to meet VBC objectives. Ensures quality of services provided, develops and implements policies and procedures for assigned area.Provides day-to-day guidance and leadership to VBC analytics vendor, TSP and operations.Serves as primary contact with outside vendors to lead upgrades, resolve ongoing issues, and contracting when needed.Detail oriented with

experience in problem solving and actionizing raw data and analytics.Performs other

duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Analytics. or healthcare/business related field or equivalent knowledge and

skills obtained through a combination of

education and professional

experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge,

skills and abilities to successfully perform the job (Required) andMaster's Degree: Healthcare Administration. or healthcare/business related field or equivalent knowledge and

skills obtained through a combination of

Experience

Minimum of 7 years Relevant

experience which includes, project/program management, change management or equivalent

education/

experience,

experience consulting with senior management on a wide array of initiatives,

experience navigating large, complex organization with multiple business or service lines, healthcare and/or multi-site organizational

experience is a plus (Required) and Minimum of 5 years Management

experience (Required) and Minimum of 5 years Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS) (Preferred) and Minimum of 5 years Industry

experience in data analysis and reporting, and actionable communication (Preferred) and Minimum of 5 years

Experience in market research, contracting, and project management (Preferred)

Credentials

Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (Preferred)
