Job Title: Head of Risk Management Sales & Service
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid – AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA
The Head of Sales & Service plays a crucial role in driving sales and retention at Pacific Advisors by leading the product and service team and implementing strategies to increase sales and enhance inforce client service delivery. Additionally, by leading the brokerage team, handling underwriting escalations, and addressing competitive scenarios, this position contributes to the company's overall sales objectives and market expansion efforts while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
The Head of Sales & Service at Pacific Advisors is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and service operations with a focus on ensuring exceptional support to advisors, brokers, and clients. This role requires strategic leadership, effective management
skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized service to meet the needs of existing clients. The ideal candidate will reside in one of our key
locations: California, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada or Washington.
Key
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive sales growth for life, disability and supplemental DI within the FR population and brokers. Provide training in the basics and the nuanced features of our products and offering and how these products fit into our selling system. Ensure alignment with the company's objectives and client-centric approach.
Service Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the service team to deliver high-quality support and maintain service excellence standards. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and solutions to enhance advisor support, service delivery and client
experience.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with advisors, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly. Collaborate with marketing and development teams to identify opportunities and home office teams to ensure a strong partnership.
Brokerage Team Leadership: Lead the brokerage team in growing sales through existing brokers and attracting new brokers to sell both life and disability insurance products. Develop strategies to expand the broker network for Pacific Advisors and increase sales volume annually.
Underwriting and Competitive Scenarios: Run point for underwriting escalation and handle competitive scenarios for producers with their clients. Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure timely and favorable outcomes for clients. Develop strategies to address competitive challenges and win business.
Case Design and Product Training: Develop and deliver training programs on overall product knowledge, case design, and sales strategies to equip the advisor community teams with the necessary
skills and expertise. Ensure that team members are proficient in presenting product features and
benefits to clients effectively.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor service performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to provide sales trends, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements and company policies in all service activities. Mitigate risks associated with client interactions and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications And
Skills:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field.Proven
experience in sales and service management, preferably in the financial services industry.Strategic thinking and problem-solving
skills, with a track record of driving results.Knowledge of insurance and financial products, selling systems and policy servicing necessary.
Experience with Guardian products and tools a plus.Strong leadership and interpersonal
skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction.Proficiency in CRM software, illustration systems, and Microsoft Office suite.Relevant certifications (e.g., LUTCF, CLU) and Life and Health license are a plus.
Compensation: $100k
salary with variable
compensation, commensurate with
experience
