About The Role – 26379 - Senior Global Account Manager The Senior Global Account Manager provides senior level data insights and analytical support in relation to the management, maintenance, and growth of global customer relationships to attain insights on factors that materially impact Orica’s outlook and achieves proactive and mutually beneficial relationships with each of our global customers that is based upon the recognised value contribution. Ensures there are proactive, strategic, and planned customer engagement plans in place to move from a reactive to proactive customer needs identification and ultimately improve customer engagement scores. We are open to this person sitting anywhere in North America.
What you will be doing • Supports Global Account Planning and relationship management at a corporate/global level.
• Ensures that there are no “no surprise” decisions by customers.
• Shares best practice and ensures regional/site agreements do not jeopardize the broader global agreements and relationships.
• Understands and anticipates potential competitor plays with global customers and having this effectively factored into Orica’s customer engagement strategies, actions, and arrangements.
• Acts as a support role for Market demand planning, competitor analysis, customer portfolio and contracting strategy; customer product need identification, new product development, business development opportunity conversion for New significant accounts which impact at the Global level, updating and maintaining customer records in SAP. What you will bring • Minimum 7 years’
experience post professional qualification.
• Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
•
Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
• Demonstrated
skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships.
• Financial acumen & budgeting
experience.
• Technical &/or functional business system applications required for tasks (e.g. SAP, SF, Concur, analytics/visualisation tools, engineering software, etc.) Role dimensions Travel: <20% travel domestic and international

Compensation Range • $97,800.00 - $150,000.00
• Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan (

experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
