Sr. Security Engineer - 100% Remote

Otptomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security solutions supporting an organization with 5500+ teammates in 550+

locations. The role will have a technical focus on network, cloud, firewall, and remote access. You will also help define, develop, and enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:Monitor cloud and network systems for security issues, incidents, and breaches.Install, configure, and maintain security software and hardware, such as firewall monitoring, SIEM, SASE, CASB, VPN, endpoint protection and network monitoring tools.Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and trends and recommend appropriate solutions.Monitor day-to-day SOC operations and ensure security incidents are acknowledged and resolved according to agreed security playbooks.Utilize a data-driven approach to identify quality and process improvement opportunities, both within Ivy and within the SOC, to improve service.Provide security guidance and mentorship to other IT teams, SOC, and business stakeholders on security best practices.Must work EST hours

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field3-5 years of

experience as a security analyst/engineer or a similar role

Experience Working In Soc And Maturing The Environment

Experience with cloud security platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and relevant certifications

Experience with networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switches, etc.

Experience with cloud tools, such as Microsoft Sentinel, SASE (Cato), Zscaler, Sophos Central.Knowledge of security best practices and standards, such as NIST CSF, CIS, etc.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving

skillsRelevant security certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Network+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
