Job Description

onsemi is looking to hire an Industrial Engineer to support operations at our Nampa, Idaho site.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work at a world-class 200mm and 300mm wafer CMOS image sensor manufacturer.

Duties will range from direct manufacturing support through improved efficiencies and optimization to human factors and lean manufacturing principles. Improvement through design and implementation that integrates personnel, technologies, environmental, and organization variables will be required to help the organization maintain leadership in a very competitive industry.

Maintains various Industrial Engineering databases. Responsible for standard time calculation, lean manufacturing, capacity study, 5S, and process time utilization/reduction. Provide support for Manufacturing and other departments. Plan cleanroom layout for effective space utilization. Responsible for support of Industry 4.0. Optimizing and streamlining manufacturing techniques and processes in the production area through methods and workflow design improvement, factory systems improvement, standard-setting, and workforce training to ensure productivity, cycle time, quality, and cost reduction drive of the company are met. Support production headcount and activities for improvement. Responsible for standard settings, methods improvements, and systems/reports improvements to ensure that valued-added work is performed in the most efficient manner possible. Support for maintaining existing factory layout and future improvements, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met.

Strong Computer

skills are essential, including Word, EXCEL, ACCESS and Microsoft Project, VISIO, VBA, Python, SQL, AutoCAD,Statistical analysis programs and DOEThe manufacturing simulation

experience is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving

skills and the ability to recommend and make decisions based on different data sets. Strong understanding of Cycle Time and Planning for manufacturingAbility to work effectively with direct team members and cross-functional teamsEffective verbal and written communication

skills. Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment. Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) attendance/membershipPrefer Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt

Experience

Experience in and working knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods, procedures, and cost reduction techniques

Bs Degree In Engineering
