The Student Radiologic Technologist I assists in meeting the needs of patients, team members, clinicians and departmental operations by providing clerical, technical and clinical operational support. Under the direct / indirect supervision of a registered radiologic technologist during Clinical

Education, the Student Radiologic Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

Qualifications

Education: High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Currently enrolled in NMPMC Radiography Program in 1st year, required.
