ICC Certified Soils Technician (CMT)

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.Primary

duties performing soils inspections and QA/QC tests. Some travel is required. The position will be predominately field located.

Primary

responsibilities will include:Performing field materials testing of soil, concrete, masonry, rebar, asphaltThreshold Inspections / Special Inspections (CMU Masonry, Concrete Reinforcement, Light Gauge Metal Framing, and Wood Framing)Preparing detailed and complete field reports with all relevant test results and inspections/observations providedPerforming basic laboratory tests on soil and concrete and preparing reports of resultsEvaluating site and subgrade conditions on construction projects and providing recommendationsCommunicating with clients, contractors, and engineering and technician staff regarding construction issuesProviding assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company

Requirements:ICC Soils Certification is required2 + years applicable
