Job Summary:- To be trained to be part of a team responsible for the production and maintenance of technical documentation and mapping data, to internal and external client specifications.
- Work collaboratively with all operational departments to ensure technical drawings are accurate, fit for purpose, and delivered to agreed timeframes.
- Support planning functions by providing supplemental document creation.
- Assist the Drawing Office in creation of all preliminary, supplemental, and end stage documents
- Work with the Drawing Office Co-ordinator to create accurate ‘as-built’ documentation of NIO Comm’s civils & cable installation works to precise client specifications & timescales
- Working collaboratively with the civils supervisors/Project Managers to ensure that accurate ‘as-built’ information is captured onsite and returned promptly for processing
- Support the PMO and Planning functions with PIA workstreams, including route reservations, missing inventory cases & as-built submissions
- Working with the wider planning team provide supplemental documentation for all planning/’as-built’ packs
- Interface with our internal and external customers as necessary, ensuring consistent quality of service
- Maintain all technical and operational documentation in accordance with processes and procedures
- Ensure accidents, incidents, near misses & quality failures are reported to your line Manager
- No technical experience required, full training to be provided
- Organised and assertive with excellent time keeping skills
- A desire to learn new skills and methods
- Very comfortable with the use of all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of, or experience using existing network operator specific applications & planning tools; Fulcrum, Nex-Tool, Siebel, Arc GIS, Badger etc
- Experience using CAD software applications in design
- Experience with GIS packages (QGIS, ArcGIS, GComms, MapInfo etc.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Manual Handling
- Level 1 Health and Safety in the Workplace
