Job Description

Provide Quality support to manufacturing in the areas of: Statistical Quality and Process Control, Metrology, Product Quality, Procedural and Systems Audits, Random Inspections and Training.Product testing and inspection and ensure the quality and accuracy of incoming/outgoing products.Perform critical quality testing and first article inspections to validate product

requirements.Inspect electronic components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and equipment to ensure they meet applicable regulations and safety standards.Verify equipment and product meet the test

requirements specified for the product.Assist in diagnosis, repair and calibration of test equipment or product.Contributes to process issues by performing a root cause analysis. Supports implementation of short and long-term solutions to stabilize processes.Supports product identification, traceability, disposition, and handling of conforming and non-conforming product.Involvement and assistance in problem solving methodologies, such as 8Ds, Kaizen, A3, Ishikawa and 5Why's.Supports quality, operations, and manufacturing departments to drive actions that improve assembly quality and performance.Delivers direct input to pFEMA, control plan, process flow, work instructions development and or improvement.Assists in the implementation and execution of PPAP Tools.Conduct in process audits to manufacturing operations, follow up in opportunities with feedback to associates and detailed report of root cause and corrective actions.

Requirements

High School Diploma Or General

education degree (GED) required.Minimum 5 years' of

experience in product inspection such as electronic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical production items.

Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100 or ISO13485 environment.Basic

experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred

Experience in electronic devices such as CCA & Harnesses.
