Crate Assembler

As a Crate Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our products to our valued customers.

Key

Responsibilities

Verify dimensions required for shipping crates using shipping reports.Operate and adjust various woodworking machines, including skill saws and radial arm saws, to cut and shape wood sections according to specifications.Assemble wood parts using air-powered nail guns to create sturdy crates for shipping.Pack crates with precision, including metal parts for steel doors and insulation to prevent movement during transportation.Fasten address and shipping labels securely to each crate.Utilize air-powered hand tools such as drills and screw guns for efficient assembly.Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Specifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.One to two years of previous work-related

experience in woodworking.Basic reading, writing, and math

skills, including the ability to read a tape measure.Forklift

experience is preferred.Proficiency in operating radial arm saws.

Physical Demands

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.Regularly required to walk, stand, and bend.Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
