UI/UX Designer

About The Role

On product design, you will design highly interactive, detail-oriented interfaces and delightful user experiences for external customers projects as well as company’s suite of products. On marketing design, you will help keeping brand communications consistent across platforms.

The ideal candidate has a history of keeping up with UI and interaction trends, and cares about developing a deep understanding of the product and its usability.

We’re looking for someone who can evidence a passion for creative solutions by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in UI/UX, someone who has high attention to detail, and the desire to dive into the exciting life science and neuroscience domain.

Here's some examples of the things you will design:

• 
  A web application that allows computational neuroscientists to build models of the brain and simulate them
• 
  An online registry of all the existing antibodies with interactive features such as table customization and data filtering, and complex information architecture
• 
  A tool that allows neuroscientists to upload and visualize patient’s brain’s events to know how to stop epilepsies
• 
  A web application that allows scientists to build, visualize and record neuronal connections in 3D viewers
• 
  A graphical canvas-based UI that allows researchers to visualize and edit compositions in a drag-and-drop format
  
• Graphics that represent life-science or engineering concepts for the company’s marketing material
• 
  Marketing videos that promote company and customer projects
  

This is a remote position, however meeting the team and traveling internationally may be occasionally necessary.

Requirements

• 
  Excellent Figma good practices knowledge
• 
  Strong portfolio of B2B software design.
• 
  Strong experience with developing and maintaining design systems
• 
  4+ years of experience as a Digital Designer.
• 
  Experience with up-to-date UX principles and interaction design.
• 
  An understanding of web front-end development and its limitations.
• 
  Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
• 
  High degree of ownership

• 
  Experience with Webflow
• 
  Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
• 
  Previous design experience in a professional setting
