LHH is working alongside a client who serves as an innovator in aerospace technology, seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge power systems for unmanned airship platforms. Located in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment, you will play a crucial role in powering the future of airborne technologies.

What You Will Do:Design and Development: Apply your engineering expertise to design, develop, and test power systems tailored to our specifications. Your role will include creating integration test benches for both Low Voltage and High Voltage DC systems.

Project Management: Oversee power budgets and manage all phases of the power system lifecycle from manufacturing to installation.

Collaboration and Compliance: Work closely with various teams to ensure all electrical systems meet stringent specifications and industry standards, particularly related to the airship sector.

What You Need:Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated

experience with solar cells, rechargeable batteries, DC-DC conversion, and familiarity with power electronics.

Systems Knowledge: Hands-on

experience with RS232, CAN, EtherCAT, and Wired Ethernet communication interfaces. Knowledge of 38999 connectors and cable design is essential.Analytical

Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to perform detailed calculations and systems analysis to enhance design and functionality.Software

Skills: Proficiency in using Graphical User Interfaces and Linux.Industry

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in electrical engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry.

Education:BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Job type: Direct hire

Salary: $120k - $160k/yr DOE
