Key Tasks

  • Coordinate the receipt, response and monitoring of quality concern reports from the customer via SQTS and LQTS reporting systems.

  • Implement containment actions, root cause analysis and permanent long term actions.

  • Regularly review and update FMEA and control plans .

  • Ensure that product inspection procedures and reports are accurately and timely completed ensuring complete traceability.

  • Provide technical support to production staff on quality requirements.

  • Participate in and control APQP, Lear Profile and Lear quality reporting systems.

  • Provide support in the maintenance of documentation in order to comply with TS16949 / IATF16949
  • Coordinate, maintain and interpret statistical information issued by suppliers in order to comply with customer requirements and specifications.


Required Skills and Experiences
  • HNC/Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably automotive.

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Competent in Faro Arm use and 8D problem solving,

  • Able to solve problems with a methodical and organised approach.
