Duties

Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during physical examinations and medical procedures,medical documentation and invoicing,payment collection,pet owner

education,cleaning kennels and exam rooms,and answering phones.

Veterinary assistants who excel at these tasks may also be offered the opportunity to assist with surgical procedures.

Candidates Must Have Customer Service

experience, be able to lift and carry 40 pounds, be comfortable with dogs and cats in both life and death, and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. An ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with excellent communication

skills and a compassionate heart for people and their pets. Candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative environment would thrive at NSVH.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
