I Am Abiomed | I Am Heart Recovery | Patients First!

We are looking for a dynamic sales leader that can motivate and lead teams to produce exceptional results. In this position you will manage the sales and clinical teams for their assigned territory and nurture our culture of trust, honor, and integrity. You will also manage and partner with the Region Clinical Manager who is responsible for oversight and direction of the clinical consultant team members. You must showcase proven success developing & executing sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales goals.

Responsibilities

Direct the region’s sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectivesLead/manage the Region Clinical Manager, collaborating with them on the direction and development of the region clinical consultant team membersDirects the sales performance in specified regionIdentify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performanceDevelop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accountsEstablish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of salesLead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospectsCollaborate with cross functional departments within the organizations in order to support region growth

Qualifications

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is requiredA Master’s or Advanced Degree is preferred

Skills &

Experience

A minimum of 5+ years of high-performance

experience in the medical device cardiovascular space is requiredA minimum of 5+ years of management

experience of a field commercial team or 2+ years of Abiomed Associate Regional Director

experience is requiredAbility to gain cooperation of others and lead team members; exhibits ability to lead a diverse team with strong emotional intelligence is requiredDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external is requiredDemonstrated critical thinking in fast paced environment is requiredAbility to exercise judgment in selecting, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results requiredAbility to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written) is requiredHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is preferredWorking knowledge of business analytics tools is preferredAbility to travel 60% within assigned area is required

The Base

compensation for the role is between $131,000 - $210,450. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive

compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company’s Motus program.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.Employees are eligible for the following time off

benefits: Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
