Responsibilities
Financial Leadership Lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, as well as compliance with SEC regulations and other applicable laws.
Team Management and Development Foster a dynamic and supportive environment within the accounting team, nurturing their
skills and capabilities to support the company’s growth journey.
Strategic Planning Collaborate closely with the CFO and FP&A team to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Internal Controls and Compliance Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
Stakeholder Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors, regulatory bodies, and investors, ensuring transparent communication of the company’s financial status and outlook.
Process Improvement Drive ongoing assessment and enhancement of financial and accounting processes and systems to optimize efficiency and reduce risk.
Candidate
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is required. 10+ years of progressive
experience in accounting and finance, with a strong track record of leadership in dynamic environments.
Experience guiding companies through growth phases with a focus on financial stability and strategic decision-making. In-depth understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
