Job Details
We Are Currently Seeking An
experienced and dynamic Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is pivotal to our business, requiring the preparation and management of cost estimates for electrical construction projects, influencing key decisions and contributing directly to our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Electrical Estimator, your
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
Evaluate offers and quotes from subcontractors and vendors.
Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to develop project strategies and plans.
Review design options and recommend optimal solutions based on cost, engineering quality, or material availability.
Conduct risk analysis for potential projects.
Assist in bid preparation, select vendors or subcontractors, and determine cost-effectiveness.
Maintain accurate records of estimated costs for future reference.
Participate in project meetings and engage in discussions with clients and contractors.
Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following
qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of
experience in Construction, Electrical Construction, Fit Out, or a related field.
Proven
experience as an Electrical Estimator.
In-depth knowledge of project estimation techniques.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Timberline, HCSS, ProEst).
Exceptional Analytical And Critical Thinking
skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
