Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Accountant to join our friendly team on the Isle of Man! Reporting to the Senior Commercial Accountant, the Commercial Accountant is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the general ledgers for the Isle of Man site. You will proactively identify errors and anomalies in the ledgers, and to devise and execute solutions. To work calmy under pressure and to deliver high quality outputs to tight timetables. You will be responsible for managing budgets and forecasts and making sure all dates are met.
Interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and reliable financial information to tight deadlines for month end reporting
Produce clear and concise reconciliation reports monthly and as necessary to maintain the integrity of the financial data
Review and monitor underlying ledgers for errors, anomalies, and trends
Proactively investigate errors, anomalies, and trends, to provide solutions and/or explanations
Liaise with staff from a variety of backgrounds and with a wide range of skills and experiences to support their financial and analytical requirements
Produce high quality and clear reports on a monthly and ad hock basis
Produce the Budgets and Forecasts for the Isle of Man sites
Challenge the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing processes
Contribute to effectiveness of a dynamic and versatile finance team
The Package:
£50,000 starting salary
Bonus System (Between 3% and up to a maximum of 10% of base salary)
25 days holidays per annum + bank holidays
Company Contributory Pension IEG will match your input up to a maximum of 7.5%

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified Accountant or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills
Great attention to detail
Positive attitude
Ability to work as part of a team, and be self-motivated at the same time
Willing to undertake further training where necessary
Proven ability to deliver outcomes from cross functional teams
Desirable Skill Set but not limited to:
Experience working with D365 is an advantage
