We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialists for our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities: Assist in creating new processes and/or improve processes currently in place.Heavy processing of employee expense reports, posting to appropriate projects and ensuring accuracy.Process vendor invoices, post to appropriate projects, and ensure accuracy.Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system.Compiles, sorts and files documents, such as: invoices, checks, vouchers and substantiates business transactions. Verifies details of business transactions, such as: funds received and disbursed; totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.Prepares vouchers, reports, general ledger accounts, extracts general ledger information, compiles cost reports.Reconciling payable reports monthly to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate.Other accounts payable activities, to include company credit card costs, when necessary.Assist Accounting Manager with special projects as needed.

More about you:Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years accounting

experience preferred.Must be able to work 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent telephone

skills Ability to effectively organize and manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Attention to detail and problem-solving
