Director Of Supply Planning

A position has opened up in Honeywell Building Automation (B.A.) for an ambitious Supply Planning Professional. You will report to the Exec. Dir BA Transformation and DC OPs with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning

skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.

As a Director of Supply Planning, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning the Site / Network Supply plans for BA Globally. You will support all SBGs and regional Supply/Inventory Planning leads as well as the MDM team to execute the vision and goals for BA Supply Planning globally. Your goal is to enable KPIs of speed, on time to first promise, and on time to request at the lowest cost of capital through effective and automated supply plans.

You will partner with the SBG COE team as the SME for your business to drive standard processes and ensure adherence to the Honeywell Global Design Model for Supply Planning and ensuring the full utilization of the Kinaxis RapidResponse planning tool and SAP within your business.

You will lead the update of PFEP quarterly, designing automation of messages in RR and SAP, and drive the team to enable a finished goods supply plans aligned to the GDM that achieves maximum customer satisfaction and ensures working capital remains within business goals. You will also lead key projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in our supply and network planning for BA Globally.

You will support and drive a positive working environment and culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization to achieve the best possible outcome from the supply/inventory planning teams. You will support the development of the supply/inventory planning teams through training, coaching and mentoring to increase their

skills and capability in readiness for internal progression and succession.

You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network supply strategy delivers on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will attend monthly SIOP meetings to approve the supply plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Business leadership in the Reconciliation and Exec meetings.

The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all key performance Indicators.

Responsibilities

Communicating the Vision & Driving Strategy for Supply Planning and ExecutionDriving Transformation initiative and deployment of the Honeywell GDM and RR adoption to include automation of SAP and RR messages (Push, pull, cancel)Lead and oversee the entire supply planning process, optimizing master data and meeting customer demand.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate supply planning and availability of critical supplies.Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate overall efficiency in supply planning operations and improved PFEP.Lead and Establishing a culture of continuous improvement and process excellenceBuild a culture of highly skilled and talented professionals in preparation for progression within HoneywellManaging the Supply Planning function and processOversea Physical Network Planning with Logistics & InventorySetting Policies around Service Level Strategies with the Business as well as other key data elements, documenting those rules / exceptions, and driving automation.Actively manage relationships with suppliers & Other regional distributions center & planning teamsMonitor supply and demand imbalances and communication/escalate where change is neededUtilizing Lean and Six Sigma techniques to rapid problem solve issues that impact KPI to driveDetailed involvement in transition execution

You Must Have

Min 7+ years of

experience in Supply / Inventory Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area. Proficiency with a Demand and or Supply Planning tools (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).Lean or six sigma or automation creation
