Packer

We are working with one of our regular manufacturing solutions clients who are looking for a Packer on a 3-month assignment to support a new contract.

The Picker / Packer Operator is responsible for producing packaged products in a safe and efficient manner, following site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards
• Pack orders to the requirement from provided specifications
• Meet established productivity standards and quality standards
• Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Accountable for accurately packing, and cleaning the work area
• Maintains a safe work environment and performs work in accordance with site, Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• One (1) year experience in production environment
• Experience within a medical / pharmaceutical/ chemical manufacturing environment is desirable, but by no means essential

• This role is Monday – Friday
• 39 hours per week, day shift
• £11.50 per hour, paid weekly
• Free parking onsite

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Norwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
