Timber Loader

We wish to recruit a Timber Loader for our Timber Operations & Production area based in Newry. This is for someone looking to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a career within one of the UK and Ireland’s leading independent merchants. The successful person will receive full training in this new role.

Key responsibilities of a Timber Loader will include:

• Loading and off-loading of vehicles
• Safe storage of timber and related products
• Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping
• Assisting and serving calling customers

• Has excellent customer service experience
• Has experience working part of a busy team
• Has a forklift licence / experience of operating a side loader forklift
• Knowledge of timber and related products
