Fork Lift Truck Driver

Gresham Office Furniture are a well-established design and manufacturing business of office furniture. Based in Lostock, Bolton this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver to join our Machine Shop Team.

Your New Role:You will join a friendly team where 80% of your day will be spent operating the FLT with the other 20% being manual handling and dealing with deliveries. Main duties include:

· Driving and operating the FLT

· Moving of materials and unusual loads around the factory floor

· Checking loads are secure

· Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance

· Adhering to health and safety regulations

· Following written instructions and keeping records

Key Requirements:

· Must hold an in-date FLT Licence

· Previous FLT is essential

· Require experience in dealing with unusual loads (other than pallets)

· Must be confident in moving 2800 x 2700 (1 tonne) of unpalletized stacks of wood

Contract:Full Time (40 hours per week) – Permanent – Monday to Friday- Weekly rotating shift patterns:

• Shift A – 06:00 – 14:15 (Days)
• Shift B – 14:00 – 22:00 (Evenings)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.50 per hour
