Description

Stores Operator / Forklift Driver required immediately for VolvoCE based at Newhouse Ind Est Motherwell. 4 day working week with overtime available.

Escape Recruitment work in partnership with Volvo CE, supplying all temporary workers on their behalf.

Volvo CE is a leading international manufacturer of premium construction equipment.

We are currently recruiting a number of Store positions and would like to hear from you if you feel the role is for you.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience of working in a mechanical engineering stores department.

You must have both a valid Counterbalance & Reach Forklift licence

Candidates must have experience of: -

• Operating a forklift truck (Licence must be valid)


• Experience using SAP


• Stock control


• Kitting out production lines


• Ensuring all quality or count issues are dealt with quickly and effectively.

You will also be PC literate and able to track and adjust stock levels on the Clients in house management system SAP.

This is a temp to perm contract role with the view to go permanent minimum 13 weeks following a performance review.

The hours are;

• Days - week 1 - Monday to Thursday 6:30am-4pm @ £12.98ph.

Over time is also available on a Monday / Friday and Saturday, depending on your working week and is paid at Time and Half. Sundays are paid at double time.
