Assistant Contracts Manager - Concrete Repair and Waterproofing

Job Title: Assistant Contracts Manager

Industry Sector: Specialist Contractor, Waterproofing , Concrete Repair

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber

Remuneration: £Competitive + Discretionary Bonus

The role of the Assistant Contracts Manager - Concrete Repair and Waterproofing will involve:

Promoting a high quality range of concrete repair services / maintenance assisting in managing all aspects of: surveying, financial, contractual matters, programming/planning, leadership and communication.

Managing pre-contract planning and assisting the Directors.

Maintaining a good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation • Ensuring company's Health and Safety and Integrated Management Systems (IMS) procedures are complied with.

Managing projects and ensuring all are completed on time and within budget

Liaising, negotiating and meeting clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, and sub-contractors.

Responsible for providing accurate information for monthly appraisals and various other reports relating to HSQE and Commercial matters

Assisting with the preparation of project bids, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required

The ideal applicant will already be working in the industry sector as either a trade or supervisory background and want to progress into management/supervisory role -

Ideally an Assistant Contracts Manager/supervisor/site manager in the concrete market sector however would consider other building or groundwork & light civils backgrounds

Ideally have experience managing the financial elements of a project, budget, materials etc etc

Ideally will have construction related degree/NVQ

Ideally have some sort of mentoring experience

Confident and articulate

High self confidence

Wants to take charge and be in control

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Salary: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
