Position:Project Manager
Location: Hybrid - Ridgefield Park, NJ Monday-Thursday in office and Friday WFH
Job Type:1-year with the potential to be extended
Description:The primary objective of the Project Manager is to support the company's Customer Care Product Liability operation program management activities including risk management, project management, technical product review, plan creation, resource planning, day-to-day operations and project status monitoring & reporting. The goal of the Project Manager is to lead various projects and support initiatives on-time, in-scope in a time sensitive environment. To achieve the highest project performance, the person in this position is expected to maintain effective and timely communication with key stakeholders and leaders within the department and cross-department where applicable. Must have a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with team members in Customer Care to provide reporting and analysis on initiativesGenerate daily/weekly/monthly reports, with analysis and recommendationsManage 4-7 ongoing and ad-hoc projects that may include managing KPIs and MetricsEnsure that all projects have required documentation as they move through the project tollgatesCollaborate with project/program developers and business leads to keep project in scopeCommunicate to Product Liability leadership on project status and escalation/decision points, as neededNew product launching risk management related specifically to product liabilityWorks cross-functionally with HQ teams in Korea, Product Liability and company operations to manage risk
Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on project management and operations within a complex global organizationAdvanced
skills in MS, Excel, and PPTTechnical
education or product engineering or troubleshooting
experienceProven capability to analyze data and develop a course of actionProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive to resolutionProcess, procedure, strategic planning and project development
experience
Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
Experience communicating with mid to top-level leaders (status reports, emails, presentations)
Experience working in a complex, deep organization and departmentPMP certification and Six Sigma certification a plusTakes project ownership and possess leadership qualities with an entrepreneurial approachPrevious
experience in mobile or consumer electronics preferred but not necessary
Experience Working Within The Wireless And Home Appliance Industry A Plus
Experience with product development or testing a plusBilingual English and Korean required
