Our CSR, Nutrition & Wellness team is crucial for the successful delivery of the wider foodservice business, where together, we are delivering operational excellence to our clients and customers across our education sites.
Job Description
You will have a keen interest in supporting children with food allergies, intolerances and medical conditions requiring a tailored menu such as Type 1 Diabetes. Your key responsibilities as a
Writing medical diet menus for children within our primary school and special educational need school sites
Working collaboratively with development chefs to develop medical diet recipes
Working with marketing to develop fact sheets, presentations and customer facing messaging around nutrition
Liaising with parents, health care professionals and schools regarding children requiring medical diets
Supporting the education dietitian to develop our wellbeing strategy, for example, contributing to projects such as menu coding to display nutritional benefits
Delivering support to operations teams within our education division through email and phone support
Please note, this role will ideally be based from our Macclesfield office 3 days a week. However, a flexible working approach can be considered.
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Skills and Experience
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our future
Minimum degree (BSc) in Nutrition
Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances
Experience using a menu management system desirable but not essential
Ability to produce work with a high attention to detail whilst working under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent IT skills
Ability to manage busy inboxes
Ability to keep up to date with current research and relevant legislation
