Summary
Brand Strategies and Campaigns is seeking a communications manager to lead enterprise-wide communications projects. This role will have responsibility for defined areas of the business and serve as the Account Manager for creative projects.
Primary
responsibilities include managing the creative development, implementation and evaluation of communications plans based on a solid understanding of the client and business goals. Employees at this level manage work with minimal supervision. They have
experience working in a creative environment and are competent in multiple channels and procedures. They identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to solve.

Experience producing integrated customer-focused campaigns, including collateral, video, digital, social media, radio, etc.Competency leading both internal Creative Services and Digital Media teams on all creative development and online digital channels to ensure projects are on strategy, on time, within budget and meet project goalsAbility to build, develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and resolve issues as neededAbility to work and make decisions independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholdersAbility to rapidly respond to immediate communications needs and issues and quickly adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Responsibilities
Serve as the Account Manager and key communications strategist and advisor for Brand Strategies and Campaigns. Support development, implementation and evaluation of communications plans based on an understanding of the client and designed to achieve business goals. Coordinate with other sections in Corporate Communications as required. Provide information and insights to support the ongoing planning and evaluation processServe as primary point of contact with key clients on their communications projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships based on understanding their business, their goals, their customers and their issues. Develop and implement project plans including schedule and budgetCollaborate with the Creative Services team on all marketing, advertising and creative development to ensure consistency and on-strategy execution. Ensure that work product is high quality and developed in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Follow defined workflow process

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or other related degreeIn addition to bachelor's degree, two (2) years minimum of related work
experienceIn lieu of bachelor's degree AND two (2) years minimum of related work
experience listed above, high school diploma/GED AND six (6) years minimum of related work

Working Conditions
2-3 days per week in officeHybrid mobility classification - work will be performed from both remote and onsite
locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to Raleigh headquarters or Charlotte headquarters (Duke Energy Plaza building) .
